Introduction

Alias Spidermad. Started reading Spidey comics circa 1996 after seeing the TV series and finding himself unable to function in this world without his Spidey fix after it finished.

He has worked in Children's Minister and the computer industry before becoming a full-time primary school teacher. He's married with four kids. His wife loves him so much, she made the Spidey suit he's wearing in the photo.

Collects

Mostly Marvel stuff, including all Spidey, X-Men, Avengers and a special place in my heart for Deadpool.

Why Spider-Man

My interest in Spider-man started about 1996. I used to avidly watch the cartoon series on TV and when it finished, I no longer had my daily Spidey fix. So I sought out a comic shop and started buying (this was just after the 'revelations' storyline). Since then I've collected all the new Spidey comics and gone back and read some of Spidey's older adventures.

Favourites

My favourite Spidey moments include J.M. DeMatteis final run on Spidey. I've also really enjoyed some of the trades, especially the death of Jean DeWolfe.
