Eric Engelhard is the secret alter-ego of Easy Reader, street-wise pimp daddy of the Electric Company. Eric is played on television by Morgan Freeman.
Eric has a fascination with really bad comics from the 1970s, despite only being alive for 2 of those years. When not ranting about Hypno-Hustler, Eric manages the uber-cool G-Mart comics (www.g-mart.com), a great on-line comic store.
Eric's collection, which he has had to move 4 times in 4 years, consists of about 90 long boxes. That's right, 90. Which makes for 25,000 plus comics. Which is Marvel comics 1973-2001 almost complete, plus 12 or so boxes of indys. Whether Eric will someday be crushed to death under the weight of his own collection remains to be seen.
Spider-Man is part of Marvel, which is why I bought my first Spidey comics, after dim recollections of the 80s cartoon. I also blame J.M. DeMatteis, for writing really, really good Spidey stuff. My first Spidey Super Stories was the Thanos issue, still one of the best issues and one of my favorite villains.
Sugar-Coated Fruit-Flavored Gummi Wurms. Redheads. Um, also Bendis.
