This title contains various standalone guides and encyclopedia which collect various "facts" concerning both the fictional elements of the characters, and the real-world elements of the publishers and creators.

There are many other dedicated titles for collected Guides and Encyclopedia, such as:

• Six volumes of Marvel Encyclopedia published from 2002-2004.
• 14 volumes of Official Handbook Of The Marvel Universe A To Z (Hardcover) from 2008-2010.
• ...plus the various other OHMU editions which preceded them.

There is a very difficult line to draw when separating a "Guide" or an "Encyclopedia" from a "History" book. A good example is Marvel: Five Fabulous Decades – it could certainly be considered a history book. But I have decided that it is in fact a "Guide" which just happens to be organized chronologically.

As a general rule, if it is large, and has lots of pictures, and lots of small articles, and seeks to entertain – then it's probably here with the Guides and Encyclopedias.

But if the title you're looking for isn't here, maybe you'll find it over in: Books (History of Comics), or Books (Essays) or Books (Biographies & Profiles) – especially if it is smaller, and has more text than it does photos.
