Books (History of Comics)
These are books which are concerned with the history of comics in general. They are primarily textual, and generally structured either chronologically, or with long chapters based around well-defined conceptual ideas.
There is a lot of overlap with our list of Books (Encyclopedia & Guides), and if the book you're looking for isn't found here, then maybe it's over there instead – especially if it is large, and heavily illustrated.
Where a book is specifically concerned with the life and career of one or two specific real-world individuals, then it will generally be found over in Books (Biographies & Profiles).
Where a book is predominantly artwork and illustrations rather than text, it is probably to be found in Books (Art).
