This is the last series that Comic Images produced under their Spider-Man trading card license.
The name "Spider-Man II" actually refers the this set being a sequel to the previous 1992 Comic Images The McFarlane Era set. This is reflected in the similarity of style between the two, and the chase set prism cards being numbed "P7" through "P12" to reflect them continuing on from the "P1" through "P6" in the McFarlane Era set.
As with the preceding set, the front of the cards is full-color art with no frame and no title, mostly portrait but with some landscape art. Back of the card features the title and description (always in portrait). There are 90 regular cards, plus 6 prism cards numbered P7-P12. Cards were sold 10 in a pack with 48 packs per box. A promo card was released, as well as an uncut sheet of the prism cards.
