Todd McFarlane was still hot-hot-hot in 1992, and Comic Images was keen to keep the ball rolling.
Standard size trading card. 10 cards per pack.
This set upped the ante with a number of enhancements to the earlier formats. Firstly the framing and title on the front of the card was ditched, allowing for edge-to-edge full-color artwork. The title was moved to the back of the card which became properly designed, with descriptive text added.
The number of cards in the base set was doubled from 45 to 90, and we saw the first Chase Set added — five prism cards P1-P5. The prism card featured metallic holographic sparkles and the card stock was plastic laminated on both sides.
I still have a couple more prism cards yet to acquire.
