New York is freezing over - presumably because of that art guy. Iceman from the X-Men / X-Factor shows up and so do the New Warriors in some pretty shoddy cross-promotion.
A third of the book later and we're back with the art guys. The two original performers – Spark and Boring, er Bora are having second thoughts about the other guy's (Painter's) dastardly plan to freeze the earth with his pen. I can't believe I just wrote that.
As if the cross-promotions haven't taken up enough of the book, the Avengers then show up. Nothing much happens then Spark shows up and he and Spider-Man fight … again. Boring then shows up, then the Painter does. Spider-Man ends up in a block of ice – just like the painting from the end of the last issue.
X-Men crossovers? That's not a good sign. But bear with us, there's only one part left to go in the arc.
