Cartoonist Chris Giarrusso has been penning Mini Marvel stories for years. They tend to be short, one-page adventures of the Marvel superheroes done up as little superhero kids in costume. They are - as a rule - falling-down funny.

Johnny Storm attempts to join the Avengers
This is but a single page of a longer story that appeared in numerous Marvel titles this particular month. Hence, it is somewhat disjointed, and my not make complete sense to the casual reader. Still, even given this, it is still pretty funny.
In this tale, Johnny Storm (who is so full of his own fine self) wants to become a member of the Avengers, and isn't quite sure why they wouldn't want him as a member. He is being question on his potential membership by (a still alive) Captain America, Wolverine and Spider-Man (who is presumably is still married to Mary Jane Watson-Parker for this story).
Irritated by how underwhelmed they seem to be, Torch storms out, whereupon Thor declares yet another Avengers victory.
These vignettes are short, funny, and highly entertaining. They should totally appear more often. Since this is just a single page of a longer story which appeared in numerous other Marvel titles, the casual reader might be a touch confused by it.
