Background

The guys over at Scholastic Australia have gotten their hands on a set of Spider-Man line art, and have acquired the licence to publish Spider-Man colouring books. They are now doing exactly that... repeatedly.

Story Details

This book is 8.4" x 10.6". It has a glossy staple-bound cardboard cover and it contains 24 black and white pages of content.

The content is from the same pool of material that comprised all of the preceding Scholastic Australia Spidey colouring books - e.g. Amazing Spider-Man: Deluxe Colouring/Activity Book (Scholastic Australia), Amazing Spider-Man: Colouring Book (Scholastic Australia), Amazing Spider-Man: Colouring & Activity Book (Scholastic Australia), Amazing Spider-Man: Colossal Colouring and Activity Book (Scholastic Australia), etc...

The only real differences between this book an those that have come before it are:

1. The particular subset of images chosen for this book is slightly different.
2. This book has dropped the captions for each image.
3. This book is significantly cheaper than any of the others!

General Comments

Yeah, really that price point is the big difference. I think I paid something around $3 (New Zealand dollars) for this book, which basically makes it the cheapest Spider-Man colouring book I've ever seen for sale out here.

Overall Rating

I'm really starting to tire of the same old set of images being endlessly recycled for these books. But this is a price tag that I really have to love! I'm torn!

Let's just sit on the fence and call it Three Webs.
