Detective Jonas Fogg is at the crime scene where Dr Treyman has been murdered by a reptilian. The police conclude the Lizard must be on the loose again.
Peter is hot on The Lizard's tale and chases him from an apartment complex where there are two of them before running into the Black Cat.
At Avengers Tower, John Jameson has called for MJ. She has dropped a scarf and he is returning it. MJ doesn't seem too keen on letting him up but May insists. We find out MJ and May are alone as John attacks the doorman.
In the city, Vermin attacks a police officer.
Back with Lizard and Felicia is really into the fight. Spidey is unsure what's wrong with her. One of the residents pulls a shotgun and shoots one of the Lizards. Black Cat hurls the other one off a building. Spidey tries to save him but he crashes into the concrete, before slumping down into the sewer. The Lizard that has been shot change back into William Connors.
Well at least Billy's age is now clearly defined as '13'. He must be on some miracle ageing drugs though cos he was about 13 40 years ago!.
Either way, another decent issue. Overall I do like the art but I do think Angel Medina struggles with people sometimes. His work on May is the biggest failing here but then it is more than redeemed with his art on the two Lizards.
As with most issues at the moment, it is a bit decompressed. Not too much has happened throughout the issue but I suppose that is a given nowadays so there's not too much point in being overly critical of that.
Still building, so it's not too easy to mark it up or down.
