Spider-Man: Under The Sea

Background

This is the Spider-Man search series, now whats different about these is on every other page is a small flap you can lift up to see what is hidden there. We get Spider-Man touring four locations, the Parade, the Park, under the Sea, and in the City.

All four childrens books come as a complete set. Other sets include the 'Special Helpers Series', the 'Sports Series', and the 'Neighborhood Heroes Series'.

Story Details

Spider-Man swings through the city, but he doesn't spend all his his time above the rooftops, he also patrolls subway areas. He passes by a toy store and rests on the side of a building.

General Comments

Well, the real draw here is the lift and look flaps, which kids just love. This is probably the reason why we only got two stories involving a Super Villain. While these books are very short, they are designed that way, as small children wont be able to grasp a complex storyline or have the patience for a long story. Great for toddlers and beginning readers.

Overall Rating

I'll give an extra half web for those nifty flaps. Four and a half webs total.
