Background

This is the Spider-Man search series, now whats different about these is on every other page is a small flap you can lift up to see what is hidden there. We get Spider-Man touring four locations, the Parade, the Park, under the Sea, and in the City.

All four childrens books come as a complete set. Other sets include the 'Special Helpers Series', the 'Sports Series', and the 'Neighborhood Heroes Series'.

Story Details

Spider-Man is watching over the Parade, making sure everyone is safe, and always on the lookout for danger. Spider-Sense tingling, he notices someone in the crowd... its the Black Cat! Spider-Man webs her up and the Police take her away.

General Comments

Well, the real draw here is the lift and look flaps, which kids just love. This is probably the reason why we only got two stories involving a Super Villain. While these books are very short, they are designed that way, as small children wont be able to grasp a complex storyline or have the patience for a long story. Great for toddlers and beginning readers.

Overall Rating

I'll give an extra half web for those nifty flaps. Four and a half webs total.
