Marvel Ultimate Sticker Collection (DK)

Background

This collection is a compendium including four different DK sticker books. The Spider-Man: Ultimate Sticker Book (DK) is included without modification, along with the corresponding "DK Ultimate Sticker Books" for X-Men, Fantastic Four and the Avengers.

Story Details

The resulting collection is 8.5" x 11" with a square bound cover to contain the 64 pages. As the maths would indicate this is 4 x 8 pages of text/scene content, plus 4 x 4 pages of stickers featuring classic Marvel art old and new. There are also 4 x 4 blank pages on the back of the sticker pages.

General Comments

Normally I wouldn't bother reviewing a collection, but I wanted to clarify that this was a 64 page reprint with one quarter of the content being the Spidey book, and to also clarify where the remainder of the reprinted content came from.

Overall Rating

Each of the original books cost US $7, while this "four-times-the-size" compendium costs only US$10. That definitely makes the sum slightly greater (in value at least) than the sum of its parts. So let's bump the rating up to 4 webs accordingly.

But if you're looking for something larger than the 16-page Spidey sticker book, I would probably recommend the excellent Spider-Sense Spider-Man Ultimate Sticker Collection (DK) which contains all-new material!
