Maisto is a product line from May Cheong Toy Company. The company launched the Maisto brand in 1990, and subsequently acquired a license to produce Marvel branded products. In the 2000's they released several Marvel-branded product lines featuring cars, motor-cycles, trucks, and even airplanes.
This title is the last of the four Marvel motorcycle series.
As per the Series #2 and #3, the models in Series #4 were once again fictional "chopper" low-rider styles rather than real-world street or racing bikes. In fact, these were simply re-issues of those bikes from Series #2 and Series #3, with various tweaks to paint color and decals.
There were only six distinct model styles among the 12 bikes in this series. For example, the "Midnight Chrome" model was used three times here, for Captain America, Spider-Man, and Thing.
The complete list of the Series #4 bikes is:
- Captain America / Midnight Chrome
- The Incredible Hulk / Heavy Winds
- Spider-Man / Buff 'N Low
- Spider-Man / Road Blazer
- Spider-Man / Heavy Winds
- Spider-Man / Midnight Chrome
- Spider-Man / Venommmous
- Spider-Man / Kurve Karver
- Mr. Fantastic / Heavy Winds
- Thing / Midnight Chrome
- Wolverine / Venommmous
- Elektra / Kurve Karver
Spider-Man was the star of the series — there was a "Spider-Man" themed model for each of the six different bike styles.
