This hardback collection from Marvel started with the first Volume in 2009 and appeared as if it was going to reprint all of the Spider-Man newspaper strips from start to finish. However, the second volume took two years to appear, and then they gave up.
Hence the two volumes covered only the four John Romita years worth of strips from January 1977 to January 1981.
