Maverick

Maverick possesses the mutant ability to absorb kinetic impact within certain limits without injury to himself. He wears body armor and wields large guns. His aging process has been greatly slowed by an "age suppression factor." He has been associated with both the X-Men (through his association with Wolverine, and the Weapon X project team) and with Canada's Alpha Flight.
