Marvel Super Heroes Adventure Game (SAGA)

 Title Date: Year 1998
 Title Base: No Spider-Man

The Marvel Super Heroes Adventure Game (SAGA) role-playing game used an innovative card-based "Fate Deck" mechanic. It was written by Mike Selinker, and despite being generally well-received, it failed to achieve wide-spread commercial success.

The series was cancelled approximately one year after it began, leaving three planned supplements to never actually be released. The unpublished supplements were:

  • Marvel Team-Up Roster Book (ISBN 0-7869-1409-2)
  • The Green Goblin's Guide to Crime
  • Age of Apocalypse

The Marvel Team-Up Roster Book was essentially the Spider-Man extension, and even got as far as having an ISBN assigned, and cover artwork released. But sadly it appears to have never reached distribution.
