"Dirt" magazine was a short-lived spin-off from the indie magazine "Sassy". Sassy was a magazine for female fans of indie/alt music. Dirt targeted the equivalent male audience.
Seven issues of Dirt were published, sporadically from 1992 to 1994. Two of those issues were shipped bagged with free copies of Spider-Man comics. The freebies were not actually reprints, they were standard Direct Market copies, bundled with the magazines.
In the bags were also freebie sampler cassette tapes.
