Here's the idea. The Marvel studios have been infiltrated by a Mystery villain. He's broken contact with all the regular Marvel artists and writers. It's up to you and Stan Lee (of course) to save the day by finishing a comic. When you complete the comic, the mystery villain will be revealed, and presumably defeated.
After a comic-book intro, you enter the Studio. You have a Spidey Radio, a work desk, and plenty of material to work from.
You have to plot, script, illustrate and letter the comic, with Stan Lee to guide you. It all looks pretty slick, although I found that the access off the CD was a bit sporadic, and the delay times were pretty bad, with the sound track being annoyingly sticky. I would have liked a "full install" option which worked directly off the disk.
All good fun, courtesy of Cloud 9 Interactive, Inc. The game was released in 1997. It says Windows 3.1 and Win98, plus Mac. It gave me an nasty install error on Windows 2000, but then proceeded to run OK anyhow.
