Silvermane has Spider-Man trapped. He is draining Spidey's blood to be re- circulated into his own new cyborg body. He is filming the whole thing so he can replay it to the underworld and reclaim his head-gangster role. Oookkkkaaaay
Meanwhile, MJ - who doesn't know what's happened to Pete - asks Felicia to help her find him. Back at Silvermane's Pete tries to escape but he loses his mask and all the cameras focus on him. He manages to hide his face.
Black Cat shows up but Pete's face is exposed as he scrambles for his mask. There's an explosion and Pete's not sure if the footage of his exposed face has been saved anywhere. Spidey and Black Cat defeat Silvermane and get out after another explosion which Spidey is sure destroyed the tape. In the epilogue, another Silvermane staggers through the wreckage. The first one was yet another android.
I like the chemistry between Pete and Felicia in their respective guises through this. It's clear there's still feelings between them - especially on Felicia's part - and that there's a steady uneasiness from MJ about things too.
That said, the rest of this two-parter isn't anything special. It might have been better if the entire first issue had been compressed down to a page or two and just ran as one issue - it certainly wouldn't have detracted.
It does seem quite drawn out and, often, needlessly dull. The art is alright. Black Cat looks better here than in issues 77/78. Again, it's just average though.
Not terrible, not great.
