Spider-man Unlimited gives you two stories for the price of one. From what I've reviewed so far, one story is usually pretty good and the other one...eh...could be better.
I've said it before but usually one (sometimes both stories) reminds me of that old Tangled Web series that came out a while back. Stories told about Spider-man but through someone other than Spider-man's perspective.
Enough of my banter, let's see what we got...

This guy looks like he took a beating as is posted up in an alley. His hands are bloody and he can't remember anything. He checks his jackey pocket and finds a wallet. His name is Michael Hotham. He staggers out of the alley in search of help but passerbys on the street avoid him.
From his lisence he saw that he was married. He hopes nothing happened to his wife. He sees that he's wearing a cross and he hopes that he's "clocked up enough church hours to have someone up there looking out for" him. As fortune would have it Spider-man swings by.
At first, the guy can't get the voice to call to Spidey but he musters on big shout and the web head hears him. When Spidey approaches the guy, he seems overly cautous. Spidey makes a joke about there being a hidden camera somewhere.
Finally Spider-man does as the man asks and takes him to the police. Buy the book, get the ending. I'm not going to spoil the twist even though you may have already guessed it. Nyah, nyah!
"Amnesiac" was okay, if a tad predictable. This was a more human story and I tend to like those more than just total silliness. It's also cool to have a more serious story where Spidey doesn't feel immense guilt. Not that I'm bagging on those stories but...I'll shut up now.
Let's give this story three webs also, this is a serious, thoughtful story that contrasts well with the rather silly opening tale in this issue.
