Bendon are probably the most prolific of the Spider-Man activity book publishers from the first decade of the 2000's. They have a good commitment to quality, and are producing an interesting range of publications.
This 2006 "Giant Sticker Activity Book" is no exception. It is "magazine size", at 8.5" x 11". While the page count of 120 pages isn't exceptionally large, because so many of those pages are stickers, the final construction is nearly half an inch thick square bound.
The covers are glossy card, and if my counting is correct, the interior pages consist of 36 pages of puzzle/activity content, plus a whopping 42 sheets of stickers.
The puzzle content pages are full colour, high quality glossy pages predominantly mazes and word games.
The sticker pages are sheets of full-colour glossy stickers, anywhere from 10 to 20 stickers page. The stickers range from 4" down to 1" or so for the smaller ones.
The sticker art work is top-quality reproductions with a range of characters. Spider-Man is heavily represented, along with many Spider-Man logos. But there's also Black Cat, Rhino, Doc Ock, Electro, Lizard, Green Goblin and a few more to round out the selection.
This is a star among modern sticker books. There's stickers for Africa here, while the production quality is top-notch all the way. I can't think of a single thing to fault.
There's no recommended retail price that I can see. I would guess it may well have sold around the US$10, which isn't that cheap I guess. But for this kind of material, I couldn't really say it was expensive either!
This is yet another example of how Bendon have treated their Spider-Man franchise rights with the respect they deserve.
Great stuff. A near-perfect four and a half webs.
