Opening scene in this two-part story sees Peter dressed once again as Scarlet Spider, paying a late night visit on Detective Raven. He sees the Mark of Kaine(tm) on Raven's face, and learns for the first time that the Detective is having doubts about Ben/Peter's guilt in the Utah murders.
When he returns home, M-J finally reveals the confirmed possibility of their baby having abnormalities as a result of the radioactivity in Peter's blood. Before they can talk about this, Judas Traveller appears, and knocks M-J out cold.
Traveller is out playing games again. He first tells Peter that he could bring Aunt May back from the dead - if he was prepared to pay the price in human lives. Peter isn't interested. Unfazed, Traveller then takes Peter 24 hours into the future and shows "Manhattan in Ruins". Actually, it didn't look all that different from the present.
Judas Traveller is just one big mess-up. He seems to have the power to transform into birds, travel through time and alternate realities. But what is he doing with it all - just messing with Peter's mind. And for what. Betcha nothing interesting comes out of this doodling.
This story sets low standards, then fails to achieve them. Two webs.
