The adventures of Peter (Petey) Parker long before he became Spider-Man!

Petey is babysat by Susan Storm who brings along her younger brother Johnny Storm. Petey and Johnny sneak out the window and run into Flash Thompson and Liz Allen. Neither of the boys likes Johnny flirting heavily with Liz!
Meanwhile, a few blocks away, The Broad Daylight Bandit has pulled off another job but has lost his lucky lighter.
Johnny finds the lighter and sets it off, hypnotising himself with the flame! The Bandit runs up, demanding the lighter back, but he bumps into Susan, spilling his swag onto the street. The kids recognise him as The Broad Daylight Bandit and, after a quick scuffle, pin him down for the police to arrest.
Fred Hembeck’s newspaper-strip style delivers an exaggerated but simple set of pages.
However, this kind of story needs to be kept for a special, where people have a choice to buy it. I’d rather Marvel gave those who appreciate this kind of story an issue to get it in and not stick it in where any unsuspecting reader might have to read it.
To me, this is simply inflicted.
Pointless, I'm afraid.
