Marvel's heroes are being watched. Not by the non-tampering Watcher but by the destructive Titannus. During their first encounter Titannus explains just how and why he is here on Earth. Titannus's tale of woe is considered by our heroes to be false. They attack to prevent the destruction of Tokyo.

We start the story with Bruce Banner rescuing innocent bystanders. As a direct result of Titannus' appearance and damage, Tokyo responds in kind. Once innocent blood is spilled, the rampaging Hulk emerges to the battlefield. The Hulk and Titannus fight each other.
Meanwhile, Dr. Strange and Nova head into the nearby mountains. Titannus finally removes the Hulk from his body, sending the Hulk hurling down. It is at that moment that Wolverine strikes only to be pounded directly in the chest and nearly killed. Spider-Man webs Titannus' feet and both She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel hit Titannus. Titannus breaks She-Hulk's arm. Spider-Man is the only one left standing. In an attempt to deal with Titannus, Spider-Man webs Titannus in the face, who removes Spidey's webs with ease. Dr. Strange reappears with Amissa, the love of Titannus. She puts him in his place by scolding him. She says, "You are insane!! I never loved you", and with that Titannus takes his own life. He punches the side of his head with both hands, essentially squeezing his head until it pops.
On board SHIELD headquarters, Peter learns from the alternate universe Tony Stark that the Titannus War that took place on his planet was started when the Avengers found Titannus. Since the Avengers disbanded here that never took place. Tony is surprised to learn that Titannus is dead. He explains that Titannus has a super healing factor. The final scene is several scientists examining the body of Titannus, only to discover that Titannus' head appears to be growing back.
I enjoyed this conclusion. The last few pages really started getting interesting. It will be fun to see when and where these seeds of plot grow, if they do at all.
Good ending.
