Here's another Marvel Super Hero Squad tie-in from Little Brown and Company.

Spider-Man appears on the cover. He also appears on on one of the inner pages, and is featured in one sticker. That's not a huge showing from our favorite hero, but it's more than enough to demand a place in our complete Spider-Man database.

Story Details

Physically the book 8.5" x 11" with a glossy cardboard stapled cover. Inside are 12 pages of high-quality glossy paper pages where stickers can be placed. There are four sheets of re-usable stickers included.

General Comments

The heroes get half the book, and the villains get the other half. There's not much text other than the few cookie-cutter inanities that we have learned to expect from this Marvel Super Hero Squad tie-in material.

For example, Spider-Man's label is "Spider-Man is swingin' in!". Thor says, "It's hammer time!" Does that even mean anything to today's generation?

Overall Rating

Hey, it's a marketing tie-in sticker book for kids. Set your expectations for "harmless", and you won't be disappointed.

Sure, there's nothing here to engage the mind on any level above "BAM!" "POW!" "SNICKT!". But then again, it only cost US$6.99, there's plenty of stickers, and it's all bright and well-constructed.

I guess it is what it is, no more no less. Three webs.
