Story Details

Marvel Super Heroes: Power Up! Sticker/Activity (Dalmatian Press)
Summary: Ultimate Sticker/Activity Book to Color, with 1000 Stickers (Spider-Man Appears)
Publisher: Dalmatian Press

The colouring pages comprise six short stand-alone stories. The stories star The Avengers, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, X-Men, and Thor. Unfortunately, the colouring-page stories are not original content, as they re-use the line-art that you can find previously in the Marvel Color/Activity (Parragon/Scholastic) and Marvel Color/Activity (Scholastic Australia) books from the previous few years.

But that's the only weak-point in the book - and it's not much of a weak point. Despite being re-cycled, the actual stories are attractive, and full of juicy action and adventure!

As for the rest of the book, the actual quality and quantity of the content is incredible. There's page after page of full-colour glossy stickers, with huge variety (over 1,000 stickers total). There's some wide-open sticker play scenes, giving you plenty of room to place your stickers. Plus some action press-out stand-up figures just to cap it all off.

General Comments

Grab your pencils and crayons and go colouring-mad. Then sticker, sticker, sticker to your heart's content. Then break out the stand-up figures and re-imagine your own classic battles. Awesome!

Overall Rating

For a mere $9.99 asking price new on Amazon, this is one of the most impressive, high-quality, chock-full-of-fun sticker/activity/coloring books available in the U.S. right now.

Sure, I had already seen the Spider-Man content several times before. But all the other stories were new to me. This is just all-round quality material that we really don't see enough of these days.

4.5 Webs... near-perfect.
