Promises, Promises

You notice something? Mackie promised NEW villains and single issue stories.

Here's the stories that have been written in the first four months of the new titles:

• The New Spidey: ASM 1, PP 1, ASM 2.
• Shadrac: ASM 2, ASM 3, PP 3.
• Thor crossover: Thor issue something, PP 2.
• Sandman story: ASM 4 (to be continued in ASM Annual 1).

No single issue stories thus far. Hmm. Now, what about new characters?

• ASM 1: Scorpion - not new. First appeared in ASM Vol. 1 # 20.
• PP 1: Ranger. NEW.
• ASM 2: New Spidey - first appeared in Gathering of Regurgitation.
• ASM 2: Shadrac - first appeared in some clone saga story as Dr. Greg Herd. (OVERRIDE)
• PP 2: Tokkots - first appeared in some issue of Thor.
• ASM 3: Shadrac. Again. How creative.
• PP 3: Shadrac. Yippee-doo.
• ASM 4: Sandman - first appeared in ASM Vol. 1 # 4. Paste Pot Pete - first appeared in some God-forsaken issue of SHUDDER Strange Tales.

One new character. No single- issue stories.

Does anyone else feel flim-flammed?
