**SPOILERS FOR UPCOMING SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN STORIES!!!**
Do you remember, before ASM 700's release, when everybody went crazy after Dan Slott posted a message to Ryan Stegman over Twitter about Miguel O' Hara, Spider-Man 2099, being Superior Spider-Man? Many people were convinced that it was true and that Slott was serious. So, when Superior Spidey was revealed to be Otto Octavius, many people were upset at him for tactically lying to throw everybody off. Well, it doesn't look like he is such a liar anymore.
Spider-Man 2099 has been revealed to be in a new Superior Spider-Man story arc starting in issue 17. Dan Slott himself said that it will be Miguel O' Hara himself in the current Marvel timeline, not 2099. Slott has some experience regarding this certain character, considering that he wrote him in the videogame, Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions. Ryan Stegman will be drawing the arc, saying that Spidey will be keeping the same costume from the Shadowland arc.
I also feel obligated to add that Marvel has also revealed that Venom will be appearing in the pages of Superior Spider-Man and the cliffhanger from Spider-Men will be followed up on soon.
