Bendis posted the following on his message board regarding his new Spider-Man related title, The Pulse:
as some of you will see in the marvel solicits for april. pulse is not in them. due to a small, and unusual, scheduling misfire, bagley had to either bail on the book or slow down a bit.
it was a tough call, new artist in the middle of a story, which i hate, and i know a lot of you do too, or this. i opted for this with marvel's blessing and bagley's coolness. plus i wrote the script for bagley.
its only for a little bit and its all about quality. the sales were just fine. i think we doubled alias' numbers and this is just one of those things.
