The biggest Spider-Man related news going around at the moment is that Stan Lee, Spider-Man's co-creator, has decided to sue Marvel over profits they have made from characters he has created.
The story goes that Stan signed an agreement with Marvel that he would get 10% percent of any profit Marvel made from media ventures involving characters he created. This would include the X-Men movie, Spider-Man movie and other related TV shows, not to mention the upcoming Daredevil and Hulk movies. Stan states that he hasn't seen any money from any of these media projects. Marvel say that there is no money owing.
