As part of Marvels attempt to increase sales and try new things they have decided to increase the output of some of their most popular titles instead of creating new titles. There is definite news that Ultimate Spider-man will be going on a 3 weekly schedule (roughly 18 issues a year), with the same creative team on board. Amazing Spider-man will likely be increased to, by up to 24 issues a year. Though final details haven't been confirmed. Peter Parker: Spider-man may also be looking at a boost.
