Big Time was indeed a lot of fun. I like the Pete who has troubles but in the end it all works out for him through his determination and luck, after all isn't that what I want to happen in my life. I've been reading Spidey since I could read, some 30 odd years. BND, although it had a moment here or there, overall was kinda lame and disappointing. Hopefully Big Time gets us going in the right direction. I want some fun like in the DeFalco era you know?
That's it, in a nutshell: the Big Time era looks to be more fun than the Brand New Day era. YMMV, but if I never read another "Grim Hunt"-style story about Spider-man being pushed to the edge, I'd be okay with that. I like the Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man, and that's what Big Time seems to be promising us. Time will tell.
Thanks for writing!
