If you wish to see your response printed, or wish the Oracle to answer more difficult questions in great detail, you would be well advised to begin your request with a sufficiently submissive introduction. "O Mighty Oracle" is a good starting point, but don't feel limited in your entreatments.
Are there any other appearances of Eddie Brocks so-called father Carl Brock in any of the Venom mini-series,or is he dead now? And whatever happened to the Stacy relatives (Arthur,Jill and Paul) and will they show up again any time soon?
Hey, Aaron. It looks like Carl Brock has only appeared in the first Venom limited series (Lethal Protector) and a flashback in ASM #375. As for the Stacy clan, I think they've all gone into therapy since learning of their relatives Gabriel and Sarah.

Yo, B. Spider-Hunt ran through Sensational #25, ASM #432, S-M #89, and Spec #255. The following issue for each title was an "Identity Crisis prologue", and then Identity Crisis ran through Sensational #27, 28 ASM #434, 435 S-M #91, 92 and Spec #257, 258.
I have a big comic book - Marvel Tresury Edition: "The Spectacular Spiderman" 1974. Volume 1 No. 1. I paid 1.50 for it when I was 11. Thinking about selling it, but I don't want to get ripped off. Any suggestions?
Well, recent eBay auctions show copies of the book selling for between $5 - $20. I wouldn't get my hopes too high, especially if it is, like most of those giant books, fairly battered by now. Your best bet is to take some detailed scans and list it on eBay. Of course, if your copy is in pristine condition, it may get a bit more than that.
I'm just reading Marvel Knights Spider-Man (which is the best comic around) issue 8 and I'm a little confused: when Venom II punches Spidey from behind what was happening- was he hallucinating or something?
The scene wasn't drawn as clear as it could have been, Mr. Menace, but here's what happened. Spidey and Venom II are fighting amongst themselves on the rooftops. They lose sight of each other for a few moments, when Venom II catches sight of Spidey, sneaks up behind him, and punches him right through the chest.
Then we see a guy with a camera lamenting over the fact that his friend has just been killed. You see, the "Spidey" that Venom II just killed was a normal person in a Spidey-costume looking to get the million-dollar reward with his friend for "discovering" Spidey's identity. (Seeing as how Venom II has now just murdered an innocent person, this is why Spidey proceeds to beat the snot out of him.) Does that clear things up?
What issue had Spider-Man meeting TV's Sledge Hammer, and how available would that issue be today?

Why in New Avengers #1 did Electro have black skin? And then why was his skin suddenly white when he put his mask on?

I'm looking for an odd Spider-man comic I had as a kid and haven't been able to locate since. As I recall through the possibly distorted eye of memory, it was an oversize issue (maybe a magazine?) and the story-line involved Spidey at Mardi Gras, except that he had a fever (I think). The art style was very different than any other Spider-Man I'd seen before (or since). I'd love to find it again but have had no luck on eBay, comicspriceguide.com or here. This would have been in the late sixties or early seventies. Any info would be much appreciated.
Marvel Super Heroes #14, May 1968. You are quite right on the details. It was an "Annual" size 25-cent issue and Spidey was feverish because he was being influenced by the Sorcerer and he DOES go to Mardi Gras. The art style was different because it was Ross Andru's first work on Spidey with Bill Everett inking (a very odd but appealing combination).
Is Jason Macendale alive and the JACK O LANTERN again? The reason I'm asking is that he appeared in the current SECRET WAR mini-series in issue 1. If that's the case how did he survive being killed by the original HOBGOBLIN?
Furthermore a HOBGOBLIN shows up in issue 3 of that particular series. Is that Roderick Kingsley?
The Jack O' Lantern appearance is an archive tape, hence it could well be from quite some time ago, and might indeed be Macendale.
As for the Hobgoblin, this could indeed be Kingsley out of his Caribbean retirement, or it could be somebody else altogether. Bendis isn't all that famous for trying for continuity, so it could be either way.
In New Avengers.... it mentions Carnage has "Vampiric Powers".... when did this happen..... i have the venom vs. carnage story line it it never mentioned that....
This seems to be something Bendis picked up from watching the 90's cartoon series. "Ultimate" Carnage was vampiric, but that was fine because he was a totally different continuity. But where the mainstream continuity got those powers from, we can only guess.
Perhaps the "replacement symbiote" from the Negative Zone wasn't quite exactly the same. Perhaps he never realised he had those powers. Perhaps somebody experimented on him in captivity. Who can tell... I'm sure you can think up plenty more possible explanations to cover this continuity glitch.
