Background
Recently Norman Osborn the former leader of H.A.M.M.E.R. escaped from prison and was put charge of a group consisting of various terrorist factions. Intent of becoming the world’s top cop again Osborn will stop at nothing to reclaim what he believes is his.

The story starts with the team helping Iron Man fight off Ultimo at Stark Resilient. Iron Man wonders who is controlling Ultimo and warns the team that Ultimo will absorb their attacks and use them against them. Dr. Strange uses a spell to bind Ultimo while Wolverine tries to cut to Ultimo’s core. While slicing away Wolverine is attacked by a mechanical spider which takes some of his blood. The blood is then launched away by an onboard rocket, Ms. Marvel tries pursuing the rocket but it’s too fast for her. Back with the others and Wolverine takes his anger out on Ultimo but is stopped by an explosion.
Fifthteen minutes ago and we seen AIM scientists controlling Ultimo. One warns the others that the longer they remain in control of Ultimo then the easier it will be for The Avengers to be able to trace the signal back to them. One of the scientists asks Osborn what to do. Osborn tells them to stay with it after seeing Spider-Man. When Madame Hydra and The Gorgon tell Osborn to abort he reminds them he is in charge now and under his leadership they won’t fail. One of the scientists tells them they have Wolverine and asks if he should attempt a genetic extraction. Osborn agrees and then notes that the others wanted to run. After seeing Spider-Man again Osborn tells the scientists to flay the skin from their bones.
Cutting back to the explosion Wolverine was caught in earlier, Ultimo has started to self destruct as Iron Man tells everyone to duck for cover.
General Comments
Finally Bendis starts to do something with Norman Osborn after setting him up for so long. With the resources of a new H.A.M.M.E.R. group behind him Osborn may be unstoppable.
