This is old news, but for those of you that didn't catch it the first time - you
might have noticed that Wolverine no longer has a cigar perpetually stuck in his
mouth. This is thanks to a directive from Joe Quesada. Quote: "My Wolverine,
the Wolverine in my world, he doesn't smoke, he's too cool for it." Joe's father died of lung cancer, but even without that push there has been a steady moving away from depiction of smokers in movies, TV and comics. The new Marvel policy applies to all characters, not just Wolvie.
