Prior to the first movie even being released, Marvel top dog Avi Arad has already announced a sequel already in pipeworks. For those not paying attention the Spider-man movie is due for release in American cinemas May 3rd (not until June 4th in Australia), but so certain of it's success is Marvel that they are already starting work on a sequel.
Movie stars Tobey Maguire (Peter Parker/Spider-man), Kirsten Dunst (Mary-Jane) and Willem Dafoe (Norman Osborne) are currently on tour promoting the movie in Australia. In recent interviews Willem has ruled out that he'll be back (because his character meets an unpleasant end), but Raimi announced that he is already signed on to direct again.
