Comics : Marvel Holiday Special

Note: Comics shown are for database purposes only. None of these comics are for sale. Valuations shown are indicative Near Mint Values. Dates shown are cover dates.

In the early 90's, Marvel started running a "Marvel Holiday Special", featuring a few Christmassy (or substitute politically correct alternative festival based on pagan Winter Solstice rituals as you prefer) type stories. That ran out of steam after a half-dozen issues, but they started up again in 2004 and have carried on ever since.

Note: Each issue is cover-dated for the "following" year. I.e. the 2007 Marvel Holiday Special (released at the end of 2007) is filed as Feb 2008 in our system. That is because the "cover date" actually marks the time when the book is removed from the shelves if it is still unsold.
