Comics : Best Of Twisted ToyFare Theatre (TPB)
Section Name: Spider-Man Non-Marvel Guest Apps
Base Level: No Spider-Man
This title reprints the ongoing fumetti (the art of adding word balloons to photographs to humorous effect) series Twisted ToyFare Theater from Wizard's ToyFare magazine. The various strips achieve the height of sophomoric humor by juxtaposition various action figures. Most notably amongst TTT's revolving cast of characters include Mego's Marvel figures, DC characters, as well as Star Wars, Star Trek, and randomly tossed in pop culture icons (or, more specifically, if you have an action figure, you are fair game).
If you haven't ever read any of these stories, you simply owe it to yourself to find a copy of this magazine and sit down with it, as nothing is sacred, and no cow is too holy to have fun poked at it.
Popular targets include current Marvel or DC storylines, popular movies (especially Star Wars and Star Trek), and just plain silly fun. Trust me, these guys are geniuses. You need to check this out.
