This comic is about the adventures of American Dream, a second-generation (M2) Captain America. Shannon Carter is the daughter of former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Sharon Carter, who grew up idolizing Captain America. When the new (M2) Avengers team was formed, she donned a costume based on Captain America's and joined the team carrying on the tradition of Captain America himself.
