Comics : Spider-Man/Daredevil: Unusual Suspects #2
Paul Jenkins is now well in control of Peter Parker: Spider-Man (Vol. 2), and he has joined forces with Phil Winslade for this little four-part mini-series, featuring Spider-Man and Daredevil.
Spidey and DD have shared many an adventure, but this is the first time that a title has bourne both their names. Two classic New York super-heroes in a stand-alone adventure, written by a proven talent. How could this go wrong?

The Kingpin survives, albeit somewhat scarred. From his hospital bed, he announces that he intends to acquire the services of one of the city's foremost legal firms. No prizes for guessing.
Meanwhile, DD leaps his way through some more superbly drawn pages. This is a visual feast - rich colors, skilled shading, detailed inking. Yum. Some more clever interaction between DD and SM. Jenkins really nails the differences between Peter and Matt. Heh:
Spider-Man: Don't you ever get the urge to just lean down and hock one at some poor, unsuspecting passer-by?
Daredevil: Grow up, Peter. We're not children anymore.
Peter congratulates Matt on getting the job for Kingpin. Matt didn't know, and he storms off to the hospital. KP persuades Matt that taking the job will save lives, and Matt has no choice. KP then helps Matt decode the clue that his latest nark gave him, showing that the man behind it all is The Owl.
Matt calls in Natasha Romanov (whatta babe!) to help Foggy investigate. Natasha starts hitting on Foggy. Double yum! Meanwhile, DD and SM head down into the sewers. Boom! A glorious double splash page explosion, and our heroes have met their foes!
Smart and sassy stuff featuring some of Marvel's most beloved characters - and I'm talking about that Romanov girl!
Still going strong. Another perfect five webs for part two.
