SM Title : Marvel Team-Up
Characters: Doctor Strange

Let it be said firsthand that I don't like magic in comics. It's too goofy, even for an ultra-fictional universe.

Let it also be said that this is one of the silliest tales I've ever read, and not in a comedic way.

A monster appears on the set of a horror movie, terrorizing the cast and crew. Meanwhile outside, Scarlet Witch shops for Hawaiian shirts for Vision. The monster comes outside and terrifies the people. Wanda uses her hex powers to burst a watertower, drenching the monster. A man runs away to get help. It turns out that he is theservant of Dr. Strange, another magician. Wanda follows him home, and enters the house to the surprise of the man. Strange tells him not to fear - she is a friend.

They take turns casting silly spells, like wind gusts and illusions to show who they really are, and then Dr. Strange just gets this idea in his head that the monster is benevolent. He doesn't explain this, he just follows up by using the Eye of Agamotto to hear the monster's pleas - he wants to go home anddidn't mean any harm. Strange sends him home.

That was fun.

In General...

This story is just bad. I don't know where to begin. It's six pages of crap, featuring descriptions of what each of them can do, along with too much randomness in that green monster than I can tolerate.

Overall Rating...

Try to forget it ever happened. One web.
