Characters : Venom II
As Venom, Fortunato like his predecessor has a beast like jaw, teeth, and tongue which are really part of the alien costume.
Venom also possesses the ability to adhere to most sufaces. Venom can animate any part of his costume and can fire a web-like substance from his hands. Because the symbiote was previously attached to Peter, it knows how to shield itself from Spider-Man's spider-sense.
The symbiote is extremely sensitive to sonic and thermal attacks. Despite the powers the symbiote granted Fortunato, his combat skills ultimately proved ineffectual against Spider-man. This can perhaps be accounted to his inherent lack of self-esteem and belief that others will always be disappointed in him.
Angelo's powers stem from his symbiotic relationship with the alien that serves as his costume. The symbiote can mimic any type of clothing whatsoever, as well as blending Venom in his surroundings, rendering him invisible. The symbiote has augmented all of Brock's physical abilities to superhuman levels equal to, and in some cases greater than, Spider-Man's.
Weaker than Venom, due to Angelo's slight stature and lack of inherent strength.

Following on from events in The Hunger where it was revealed that Eddie Brock was dying from a strain of cancer. Brock had made peace with himself and decided to accept his fate without the help of the symbiote which had served as a life supporting device.
Brock set up an auction of which the winner would gain ownership of the symbiote. After rich mobster Don Fortunato purchased the symbiote for one hundred million dollars, his son Angelo Fortunato took on the role of the new Venom and set out to prove his worth.
Ambushing Peter during his ten year high school reunion, Angelo easiliy killed several of his old classmates, including Seymour O'Reilly. He tangled with Spider-Man but was easily beaten, despite his early taking to the suits advanced attributes such as invisibility. Following defeat he fled from Spider-man and while in mid leap from a rooftop the symbiote abandoned it's new host as punishment for Fortunato's lack of resolve.
During the conflict Spider-man had run out of web-fluid in one of his web-shooters and was unable to catch Angelo in time. The would-be villain crashed to the ground and was killed instantly. The symbiote left Angelo to bond with Mac Gargan, who became Venom III.
