Cards : 1996 Team Metal

Here's something different. This four-card set is manufactured entirely out of metal. There are four metal cards, made of thin sheet metal with rolled edges, with full painted art both sides. The set comes in a metal presentation tin. Neat, huh? The set is actually very cheap to acquire, even now more than ten years after it was produced, you can pick them up for a few bucks at trade shows, or on eBay.

The "cards" themselves are nicely manufactured, though the art is actually pretty ordinary stuff, and the text is completely worthless. These cards are only really appealing for their novelty value, they not actually that artistically appealing or valuable to collectors. Still, they're fun, even if they are a bit hard to put in standard card folders.
